Batch Slausen-2Batch and Slausen by Thirtytwo

Who – Thirtytwo
What – Batch Jacket
Where – Your local Thirtytwo dealer
When – Starts hitting shops around 9/15/14
Why – 8K/8G Nylon Shell, Fully Taped Seams, Regular Fit, Mesh Lined Pit Zips, Lycra Wrist Gaiters, Media Pocket

How –

  • 8K/8G keeps you dry from the inside and out so you stay warm.
  • Fully taped seams for that little extra protection from the elements.
  • Fit is not too baggy with plenty of room for layering underneath.
  • Mesh in the pit vents to keep the snow out on those warm spring riding days
  • Slide the wrist gaiters over your thumbs to keep that pesky snow out of your sleeve and gloves.
  • The media pocket is accessible from the outside of the jacket so you don’t have to let the warmth out just to take a “lift-selfie”.

Personal Thoughts- In the last 5-6 years I’ve become a huge hockey fan so you can understand why I was instantly drawn to this jacket. I was a little worried about the fit (my “daddy weight” usually requires a relaxed fit).  There’s enough room for all the layering you need without that tight feel in the pit area. Great jacket for a plethora of conditions and a must for the hockey fans out there…GO HAWKS!

Who – Thirtytwo
What – Slauson Pant
Where – Your local Thirtytwo dealer
When – Starts hitting shops around 9/15/14
Why – 10K/10G Nylon, Fully Taped Seams, Relaxed Fit, Adjustable Waist Cinch, Zip Gusset with Snap Lift Cuff

How –

  • 10K/10G is twice as waterproof/breathable as the standard keeping you dry from the outside and inside.
  • Fully taped seams mean nothing is sneaking through any stitching keeping you that much dryer throughout the day
  • The fit makes it easy to move without being too baggy.
  • Adjustable waist helps keep your pants where you want em
  • The cuffs are easy to get over/off you boots and when your boots are off, snap em up so you’re not tripping on your pants through the lodge.

Personal Thoughts- I’ve always rocked the Blahzay pant mainly because I always liked cargos (even though I never put anything in the pockets #Slave2Fashion) so the Slauson was a no brainer.  The same fit and features but a little more of a “workwear” styling. The price is right on these as well. You get more features for you dollar and style dry all day long.
