Staff Pick : Tyler May

It seems like it’s Flanel week here at Michigan Boarder.  Both of this week’s staff picks showcase members of the Michigan-based super crew. This one in particular is of the very technical, very causal-styled Tyler May. Originally getting his start at Mt. Holly, Tyler has since grown new roots at Lansing’s own community snow park Hawk Island.  I managed to catch Tyler riding at the end of last year at Hawk and was instantly impressed by his abilities.  Tyler’s edit featured here is a banger. Tyler has set the bar very high for everyone else on their season edits; including himself, but after watching him ride this last weekend at the Haunting at Hawk event I am pretty sure that won’t be a problem.

Talk about the edit:

This edit represents a ton of hard work and long travels. I had so much fun last winter getting around and getting after it with the crew.  Riding daily and hitting spots with guys like Jack Harris, Eric Starke, Aaron Senchuck, and everyone else who we linked up with was incredible and I can not wait to go get after it again this season! It’s important to add that even though Al Pal is a pro, I am way sicker than he is. Thank you.
