After focusing our gear reviews mostly on hard goods we thought it was time to shake things up a bit and throw in a review of some off the hill threads. The Collective Clothing Company seemed like the perfect choice.
The Collective Clothing is a high-end street wear lifestyle brand founded in 2009 in Boston Massachusetts by our homie Luke Schulze. In a nutshell, The Collective Clothing can be described as a solid mix of function and fashion. With edgy yet classy designs and high quality materials it’s a perfect choice for skating with your boys or for a night out on the town looking for trouble. The clothes look, fit, and feel great. We are really excited to see DIY brands like this emerging with a legitimate background in the lifestyle they portray.
The brand is definitely promoting bright futures. Luke has managed to put together a skate and snow team of amazing young riders. With names like Ben Bogart, Yale Cousino and Shaun Murphy on their snow team The Collective has no shortage of talent or street cred. The brand continues to grow and somehow finds a way to outdo itself visually season after season. Given its quick success and with Luke at the helm we feel like the sky is the limit for this brand.
“We just promote getting out there and doing it your own way with the help of your homies and having as much fun as you can in the process.” – Luke Schulze
