Staff Pick : Adam Rottschafer

michigan boarder, snowboard, michigan, midwest, snowboarding, Adam Rottschafer, Drip Squad

Drip Squad bad boy Adam Rottschafer is killing it right now. Usually in our staff picks we describe the rider’s ability and a little bit about them personally, but honestly guys this edit speaks for itself. Adam and his ability are held in extremely high regards by anyone who has seen or even heard of his riding. I mean we heard about him before we saw him in action and he lives up to the rumors. Adam is bad ass and this edit proves it. ‘Nuff said. Get some pop corn kids and have a watch…

Tell us about the edit.

The edit was filmed primarily in Marquette, Houghton, and Grand Rapids. It was a lot of us dudes’ first year hitting street so there was a lot of trial and error and a lot of eating shit haha. Addison did a great job getting out and filming and editing and hopefully this year we’ll get to have more fun with it and go to some different spots and then be more satisfied with the end product. Huge thanks to Levi Ryerson, Brandon Smith, Jake DeVries, and Dominic Spaghettios for helping me out with getting involved with the Burton program last year!

Give us some info on you. Anything you want to talk about snowboard related?

This year I’m hoping to film a street part and go places other than Marquette and Grand Rapids and meet even more great people than last year. There has been some rough michigan boarder, snowboard, michigan, midwest, snowboarding, Adam Rottschafer, Drip Squadoutlines of a Drip Squad movie, and I think Spencer is working on a rough teaser set to drop in the next month. I’ve also been in contact with Marc Moline at Cannonsburg and there is some talk of a full-length Cannonsburg movie that would feature 10-12 parts, so I’m looking forward to being able to film with some different people this year and get involved with that.

Best thing in snowboarding: the community. Snowboarding brings people together who otherwise wouldn’t have ever had any relation, and I think that’s really a cool thing. Also, rope tows.
